Course Summary:

The Certified Quality Auditor Exam Preparation Course, developed and delivered by the Raleigh section of the American Society for Quality, is designed to help auditors become better prepared for the ASQ CQA Examination.

Through discussion, review and practice, attendees will become thoroughly familiar with the body of knowledge for the CQA exam.  Class discussions include an in-depth overview of the exam process, along with the rationales for correct answers.  Sample test questions and answers offer participants a better understanding of the basic principles and applications that will appear on the examination.

Course Schedule: Eight Mondays and Thursdays, April 29 – June 3, 6 – 8pm

Location: Diosynth Biotechnology (a part of Merck), 101 J. Morris Commons Lane, Morrisville, NC 27560

Restrictions:  The following guidelines and restrictions are in effect for this course.  All participants will be required to show a valid photo ID and give their company name and work phone number at registration.  No persons under 18 and no recording devices of any kind shall be allowed.  Minimum class size must be met to offer this course.

Cost:  $500 – ASQ members, $595 - non ASQ member.  Cost of text is not included.

Instructor:

Mary Chris Easterly- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) since 1998 and Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence since 2000.  Senior Quality Assurance Technical Specialist at Diosynth Biotechnology (a part of Merck).  Responsibilities over 22 years include managing and executing internal audit and supplier quality programs, and coordination of audit teams for corporate audits, client audits and regulatory inspections. 

B.S., Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, Virginia Tech.  M.S., Quality Assurance, California State University at Dominguez Hills.  Senior member of ASQ, Secretary and Chair-Elect of the Raleigh section.
